A Review: The Mistborn Trilogy

A beautiful depiction of a world ruled by magic and power. Brandon Sanderson depicts a realm on the verge of collapse, unless a few individuals can muster the strength to save it through their use of a unique magic, Allomancy. The magic in this trilogy is what makes the series go from good to great.

House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J. Maas: A Review

We left Crescent City Book 2 with Bryce Quinlan jumping through a portal in a last ditch effort to find some way to beat the Asteri. Chased through the halls of the palace by Rigelus, Bryce leaped through the only escape she had, hoping to land in Hel. Only to find herself in the home world of the Fae, with no idea who to trust, why she landed in this particular land, or how to find what she needs to save her world.

This is the introduction to the intertwining of worlds by Sarah J. Maas. House of Flame and Shadow weaves pieces of ACOTAR into CCS in an elegant manner that levels up the playing field for her multiverse. Maas chose the two best characters from ACOTAR to introduce to Bryce Quinlan. Nesta and Azriel were fan favorites in the ACOTAR series, and she used them to their best potential in this mingling of worlds. Read More Here!

Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas: A Series Review

Throne of Glass began and ended with page turning drama in every chapter. I jumped head first into Throne of Glass (Novel #1) and sped through until the very end of Kingdom of Ash (Novel #7). The characters and plot twists were almost more than I could handle. Easily one of my favorite fantasy series of all time! Read more here…

Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas: A Review of Books 1-3

Throne of Glass | Crown of Midnight | Heir of Fire

To say I inhaled the first three books of the epic Throne of Glass series would be an understatement. Sarah J. The race of the Fae and their animalistic magic has always been enthralling to me – but this series brings it to a whole new level! Read more here…
