I love a cozy book in the fall to curl up on the couch. Add a nice warm blanket and a cup of coffee and I am set to delve into the lives and adventures of someone else. Even if it is an older book that I have already read a time or two.

These 3 books are some oldies but goodies (old in that they have been out for at least a couple of years). However, they are some of my favorites and go-to on a cold fall evening!

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes: This loving tale is a cozy book that pulls at your emotions in such a unique way. The characters are beautifully written and the relationship that builds in this novel is magnificent. It’s a rare find to have a novel that is both tragic and uplifting in its own way.

Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate: This beautifully written novel has a touch of a reminder of Where The Crawdads Sing. It tells the tale of life lived in a shanty boat down in Mississippi – a lifestyle I can’t begin to imagine, but it is charming and simple in its own way – that is interrupted and shattered. Life carries on for the children, but each in their own way. The novel tells their tale.

Love Walked In by Marisa de los Santos: This novel is centered around unlikely friendships and the emotions that go along with intense relationships. Cornelia’s character is charming and endearing and the reason I absolutely adored this novel. It’s a beautiful story but a quick and easy read. A wonderful fireside book for this fall!
